Always larger than life, Method Man became a vital part of hip-hop culture in 1992 as a founding member of the hip-hop supergroup Wu-Tang Clan with their instant classic Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). Solidifying himself as a superstar in his own rite, Method Man went on to release multiple platinum albums. Redman also exploded on to the hip-hop scene in 1992 when he released his debut album, Whut? Thee Album. Already an integral part of the fabric of hip-hop culture, Method Man and Redman took hip-hop by storm when they released Blackout!. Hailed as one of the best albums of 1999, it featured the game changing singles “Y.O.U., Tear It Off” and “Da Rockwilder.” Method Man and Redman wrote their names in the history books as some of rap’s best lyricists. They are back together in 2009 with their much-anticipated album, Blackout 2. As described in Entertainment Weekly, Method Man and Redman are "...when hip-hop's most playfully creative rhyme stylers throw down like two superballs in a rubber room, they're unstoppable - and make rap's most joyous ride."
