Bob Weir and Phil Lesh began performing together again in 2008 and 2009, for the first time in four years, with a reunion of The Dead. A few months after The Dead's 2009 tour the musicians announced that they had formed a new band with Jerry Garcia sound-alike John Kadlecik from Dark Star Orchestra. Also included in the band were RatDog and The Dead's Jeff Chimenti as well as drummers Jay Lane and Joe Russo who are assuming the role of the Rhythm Devils, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart. The jam is on.
