BIG EARS 2010 is turning up the volume - expanding the breadth and depth of the BIG EARS concept to create an unprecedented festival experience.
Over 30 artists/bands will perform some 50 concerts in multiple venues throughout the weekend, along with art exhibitions, installations, film screenings, workshops, interactive experiences, lectures and discussions.

Visionary American minimalist composer, Terry Riley is Artist in Residence.
Bryce Dessner, best known as guitarist for the acclaimed rock band the National, is co-curator for the festival.
Big Ears is about pushing musical boundaries, making space for unique collaborations, and experiencing new work in intimate settings. In addition, the wide variety of artists from the Calder Quartet to Bang on a Can and the 802 Tour will provide an unprecedented experience. Expect the unexpected.
