I'm going to be in Nashville for most of that weekend, so I'm going to have to miss the fest this year! It does look like a lot of fun.
Bristol Rhythm and Roots is only $4o for three days of music. Hard to beat dollar for dollar. Good line up this year, too.
From jam bands to hardcore bluegrass and old time, this festival has something for everyone.
Some of the featured performers include Blue Highway, The Carolina Chocolate Drops, Cephas & Wiggins, Cherryholmes, The Dan Tyminski Band, Darrell Scott, The Dixie Bee-Liners, Doc Watson, the everybodyfields, The Hackensaw Boys, The Infamous Stringdusters, Larry Keel & Natural Bridge, Langhorne Slim, The Maid Rite Stringband, Malcolm Holcombe, Mike Marshall’s Big Trio, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Papa Joe Smiddy and The Reedy Creek Band, R.B. Morris, Dr. Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys, Red Stick Ramblers, RobinElla, Sam Bush, Scott Miller & The Commonwealth, T. G. Sheppard, Wayne Henderson, and, of course, featured artist at San Francisco’s Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, The Roan Mountain Hilltoppers!
Also performing are the following:
