Mountain Oasis 2013 - The Lineup Is Here!

AC Entertainment is proud to announce the initial line up for the 2013 Mountain Oasis Electronic Music Summit, slated for the weekend of October 25 – 27 in beautiful downtown Asheville, NC. Nine Inch Nails, Bassnectar, and Pretty Lights will headline the three-day weekend, which also will feature a performance by Neutral Milk Hotel, who have not played live since 1998. Additionally, Neutral Milk Hotel’s Jeff Mangum is curating the night of music surrounding the band’s performance, including special guests Daniel Johnston and Half-Japanese.

Forecastle Artist Additions

Just when you thought we were done, we hit you with some extra special treats: We've got a handful of new artists sailing on to the lineup!

Joining the Friday night bill will be neighbors to the north, Houndmouth and indie, folk-rock outfit Roadkill Ghost Choir. Saturday gains DJ extraordinare Nosaj Thing and part house, part disco rising star AMTRAC. But Friday and Saturday didn't get all the fun. Rounding out the festivities on Sunday will be electronic composer and synth-sideshow ringleader, Dan Deacon and tried and true country rockers Wild Feathers.

Minglewood Hall will welcome a diverse and spectacular lineup of shows in the coming weeks. This month, Slamgrass pioneers Leftover Salmon perform on Friday, April 26, while May plays host to blue-collar rockers Blackberry Smoke on Wednesday, May 15 and indie up-and-comers The Shins on Saturday, May 18. Plus, we've just announced Gogol Bordello, a Gypsy, post-modern outfit known for eccentric live shows. Tickets for Gogol's Wednesday, June 5 performance go on sale Friday, April 19.

The Forecastle Festival's already stacked 2013 lineup is getting a little a bit more "oomf!"
